Do you know what mesothelioma disease is all about? I actually don’t know that there is such until one of grand father in my mom’s side died because of it a few years back. And how did he got the said disease? As his doctors said, he got it from ASBESTOS. You got it right, asbestos that is part of his uniform for the past thirty plus years as a Fireman. Well of course, they knew it from the start the risk of being a fireman and all, plus the added risk of having up close almost working with stuff that are asbestos filled. My grand mother even told us that every year, they have this mesothelioma information seminar for them to get fresh knowledge and the ways to protect themselves with the high risks of it. But, the knowledge provided were no use for my grand father, for he was tested with a positive result of such disease, twenty years after his retirment. That is why, they seek for lawyers that specializes on mesothelioma law, because they said that my grand father can seek for corresponding claims to his previous work company because of what happened to him. Plus the website www.mesotheliomamedicine.com discusses and offers help for those who are also affected with such disease. So if you know someone who were also diagnosed with such illness, you can check out the said site, maybe, who knows, they can also file a claim too.

This is what makes my daughter busy like a bee in the morning, while having her breakfast cereal or in the afternoon while I blog Anyways, we got her this coloring books and a jumbo box of 8 crayola as her starter kit, she super loved it! Basta whenever she remembers her coloring activity she’ll say ” Nay, Oyin kulor!”

The photos were taken last month pa, and now the coloring books are all gusot and some of the pages are already torn But the crayola’s are still complete, it really hard to break I must say!

Here is what our weekend is all about, finished on time 150 pieces cupcakes for a wedding last Saturday. It was tiring indeed, but after seeing the out put, aw, it was heaven! The bride even texted a day after her wedding to personally thank and appreciate the cuppies we made for their souvenirs.

Is ME! Look at my latest bow bands collection A head band lover since my elementary days, now that the big and bold colors are in again, it’s collecting time people!
Seen being revived at the Gossip Girl series, now its a must have! of course, you need to find what suits your head or something, oh well, as long as you feel good on whatever design, then it’s fine! feel pretty lang always!

Last week we bough Olin these Activity Sketcher, the husband was hesitant at first because the label says its for children 3 and up, and Olin is just 18 months! But I insisted on getting this, so I won! And boy I was right! the tot loves it so much! upon seeing Pooh she was ecstatic! she keeps on shouting Pooh! hehehe… So we let her see how it is being use, just like her color, and she got it fast ha! Now she always doodles like a pro with her sketcher and just ask me to slide it up for her to erase all her tweaks. And yes, we just make it a point to look after her every time she uses this activity prop just you know, to make sure she use the pen type writer the proper way.

Below are the some of the photos I took the activity sketcher worth P170 - super sulit specially when you see your precious enjoying every moment of it! can you see her sweet smile below?

And of course, to brag my husband’s art! lol… Olin loves her Tatay’s drawing skills, that she keeps on asking him to draw ‘cat’ …. every time she remembers, she’ll bring her doodle sketcher to his Tatay and will say ‘Tatay, Cat!’ and he knows what to do…

So here are my daily essentials… had to have a group shot of all because it’s so tiring to take separate photos eh…

1. To start my ritual after my bath is the GODIVA alcohol free toner, available at Watson’s for P120, super hiyang with my skin and at the same time so gentle because no alcohol content.

2. Olay Moisturizer at P500 (more or less) super nice the effect on the skin, I make sure to put on these creme everyday after the toner.

3. My super duper loves EVERYDAY MINERALS set from the concealer, foundation to the finishing powder! I sometimes put on EM eye shadows.. and not to forget the Kabuki Brushes! so soft and super nice as the applier…

4. MARY KAY Lipstick in Frosted Rose - love the shade, it took me a long time to finally met my right shade actually, and now we are having a good time together! lol

5. EVERYDAY MINERAL colored lip balm - so natural it can make my chappy lips soft in an instant, its my daily partner if I’m not using my lipstick.

6. AVON full mascara - I used it whenever I’m in the mood to really prep up, not so often actually.

7. Clinique Pressed Powder, though I seldom use it because my EM powders can last a long time, I just always have it in my purse or bag, just in case.

8. Mary Kay Complete Compact Make up - I used it before the EMs, I still bring it with me whenever I go out, because it’s less hassle to apply, all in one kind of thing whenever I need some instant touch up.

Have you seen this cute baby glass bottles with colorful sleeves? Found it while site hopping for baby products and some LCD mount for my father’s television set, anyways, I’ve been thinking of changing my daughter’s bottles into a glass type just like what Litzie has done, free of BPA a chemical substance that was said to be harmful to kids. And this WeeeGo bottles from Babylife is such a steal, isn’t! Mothers like us wouldn’t have to worry about breakage of the glass bottles because it has this stylish sleeves to protect also from bumping with other stuffs in one’s nappy bag. And yes, the plastic material the sleeve is made of  also comes in bright and funky colors the babies  would surely love   is  practically proven 100% non toxic plastic, making it safe for the biting toddlers just like my daughter who would do anything to get a bite out of anything. Funny, but we have to make sure she’s not getting their teeths and mouth on to harmful stuffs inside the house.

The movie that is! yes, the husband and I just came home from a spur of the moment decision for a movie date! Was able to catch the LFS at SM Bacoor, took in some bucket full of buttered Popcorns and iced tea and  everything was just right, the movie was a steal, sulit for the P120 ticket. It was lightly done, feel good flick. Even the husband liked it, specially Sarah who was so kulit and witty! and I of course, was so kilig the whole time! you’ll even hear screams from the ladies in the audience because undoubtedly, John Lloyd is so gwapo!!! as in! the way he looks, ah, it can melt! hahahaha… I guess there are more than 10 times Amiel elbowed me because I was so kilig with J.Lloyd! what can I do?! I can’t help it noh!

I’m not going to spill the beans here of course, I just want to say that it was a really nice movie, you should watch it! No heavy drama oh, just slight crying scenes and some shouting scenario but the rest was light eksena’s… and yes, there is no kontrabida in the movie sounds new eh? c’mon, watch it na!

It really made me think of myself as a good person, just in time when others think the opposite about me It made me feel welcome and loved by my blogger friends. Oh my, I sound so mushy already! stop the crap kathy! Alright then, so how was your weekend everyone? In our case, we just stayed for a couple days in my parent’s house, nope, we did not go to the mall or made pasyal. After hearing mass we just opted to bond with my mom, sis and tita the whole day, less gastos but it was fun! And yeah, I was able to clean my closet in my previous bedroom, I had to let go of the clothes I’m not wearing anymore, or shall I say that doesn’t fit me now! I also found my bunch of corsets that I wore in my College days, I was trying to lose weight then, thus opting to wear tight under garments like that for a slimmer effect
