I remember when my dad tells us how he wants us all to live in the states, specially when he has all the chance in the world to do so when my grandfather is still alive and living in California. But you know, some things are just not made to be, even if we wanted it so hard, sometimes fate doesn’t meet up with all your plans. And to make the long story short, he was never petitioned right. Actually it really frustrates and dissapoints him, the fact that my grand father could have done some simple things in order for his kids to be able to follow and start a life there, but with his reason or another, he wasn’t able to. I still remember how my dad wishes to avail one of those Schumacher Homes Louisiana for our familywhen we settle there. You see, a friend of him was able to avail one of the beautiful houses there, affordable as what they said and yes, beautiful. Sometimes, when my dad remembers how he badly wanted to transfer, he would always mention how he plans our family house there. And lately, I just got an email regarding this famous Schumacher Homes, and how great their housing projects are all over the US. I mean, it would have been really great if we were able to achieve what my dad used to dream, you know, living in one of those nicest houses in Louisiana and all. But well, of course, it is still not late, we can still work out really hard and who knows? one day you’ll see us there.
Meet our bunso… Sasha, the baby Cockatiel bird
She is so fragile and yes, young. She even needs to be hand fed and cared for like an infant for two more weeks. As expected, our daughter super loves her new pet! that she keeps on approaching the cage and talks to Sasha
super cute!
This bird makes our second pet, the other one is Moogy a pit bull who is super sweet which if you see him doesn’t fit his appearance, he’s really freaking scary! the big body and huge head?! men, he can really torn your body into pieces, just looking at his teeth you’ll get those goose bumps all over. But as I’ve said, he’s really a tamed dog
he likes to play with our neighbor’s dogs! In fact when the husband walks him, you’ll see him stopping by the other stray dogs, but those who doesn’t know him will end up running away, super scared! By the way, the husband got him a Control flea treatment the other day because he wanted to make sure that we wouldn’t have to worry about Fleas and ticks. He happens to read a lot of good stuff about using such products even if your pet doesn’t have one. Prevention is always better than cure right?
So anyways, back to the bird, I will be posting a more photos of Sasha and how we feed her through a syringe next time
I was blurbing about this maritime lawyer that my dad used to tell us about some few years back, but heck, I can’t even remember the name of the legal company their cruise ship company is related to. You see, I heard about this Mark & Associates, P.C., the leading law firm company in the United States that actually aggressively stands to help those who were injured while on board of their maritime ship. Meaning, they are the ones who give legal support to those Seaman’s. Their company is at boom now, being the most famous amongs all the legal companies that render this kind of help to the maritime industry workers. It makes me want to call my dad and ask him what is the name of their accredited legal office to contact just in case they will need some legal advises and help. You see, it’s such a great thing to know that there are law companies that are popular for serving their purpose very well, specially for those who are like my dad, a Filipino seaman that works twenty four-seven at sea.
Doc Joey came up with this topic for PPBC! It made me realized about my daughter’s upcoming second birthday, to party or not is the question right now… anyways, before I continue with my reading about movers New York let me just blurb here my daughter’s First birthday bash last January.
What can you say about birthdays? Did you celebrate your kid’s birthdays with a big bash? Or a trip? Or just a simple celebration at home?
:: I definitely love birthdays and celebrations! this much better if we have unlimited moolah to spend!
:: We celebrated my daughter’s first birthday with a bash, not that ‘big bash thing’ but we kept a budget layout so we wouldn’t have to go over board with the expense. It was a happy celebration, I must say. Successful! you can view the party details and supplier ratings HERE (PART 1) and HERE (PART 2)
Was there anything significant that happened during your kids’ birthday?
:: Everything was memorable, things happened according to what my husband and I planned. It was a blast! The kids truly enjoyed every single moment of it, games, prizes and the magic shows. Don’t forget the delicious food that my mom make sure to be overflowing, she cooked additional viands to add with the catered ones.
Were you happy about how your kid’s birthday celebration went?
:: Oh definitely!
Any special memories?
:: Everything was memorable and special
Any other thoughts?
:: I should have hired a face painter though… it was really fun pala! ![]()
Thank God it’s already a Saturday! another week has passed once again, and for me it was good, I mean, I received enough tasks that kept me busy and it was hubby’s birthday last Tuesday that I prepared for. So what are our plans for this weekend? there is no exact plan yet but I am thinking of going with the husband to his old schooler meet up tomorrow somewhere in the metro, and of course we would be bringing along the brat. And speaking of the brat, we might canvass for a new light weight Bob stroller since it is getting hard for us to carry the tot everywhere, at least if we have an umbrella stroller we can bring it where ever we may please. I just want a very light weight and super foldable one like the ones from Bob’s! Wish us luck on this!
Do you know what mesothelioma disease is all about? I actually don’t know that there is such until one of grand father in my mom’s side died because of it a few years back. And how did he got the said disease? As his doctors said, he got it from ASBESTOS. You got it right, asbestos that is part of his uniform for the past thirty plus years as a Fireman. Well of course, they knew it from the start the risk of being a fireman and all, plus the added risk of having up close almost working with stuff that are asbestos filled. My grand mother even told us that every year, they have this mesothelioma information seminar for them to get fresh knowledge and the ways to protect themselves with the high risks of it. But, the knowledge provided were no use for my grand father, for he was tested with a positive result of such disease, twenty years after his retirment. That is why, they seek for lawyers that specializes on mesothelioma law, because they said that my grand father can seek for corresponding claims to his previous work company because of what happened to him. Plus the website www.mesotheliomamedicine.com discusses and offers help for those who are also affected with such disease. So if you know someone who were also diagnosed with such illness, you can check out the said site, maybe, who knows, they can also file a claim too.

Topic No. 1: Life After the Wedding - the Married Life.
What are the things you want them to know about life after the wedding?
- That marriage and married life is not as easy as 1-2-3, unlike to what our perception when we were still young and single.
- You get to learn about some weird stuff about your husband and yourself after like a few months of living together.
- If you do not have a maid to stuff for you, expect double the amount of laundry and dirty socks!
- I also learned that we have a normal married life, just like the others. Not exactly in the bliss state, to tell you honestly, having an argument here and there, sweet mushy talks afterwards, I guess that’s normal. What matters most is that after every argument and misunderstandings, we try to settle things and talk like two descent individuals.
- That even if we are not financially blessed, we still can manage things around the house. That having this kind of living state, we are now really into working hard to fulfill all our dreams for the family.
- There are times when there are some things I would want to have but after realizing the stage we are in, the family comes first motto would sink in. Being married ties up with a lot of sacrifices for the marriage to work.
- Also learned that the only person you can run too in every sad and happy moments of a wife’s life is her husband. No matter how insensitive he is at times, it doesn’t matter, for you have this kind of deep understanding and relationship.
- After all the said and done in our married life, it always feels great to be HOME.
THANKS AGGIE!
