when mom speaks

After being able to experience commuting in HK, I finally realized that it is so easy to do so! Well, yes bit intimidating at first (after reading from forums and sites that discusses traveling without the hook from travel agents and all) but when you are already there,  it’s really easy as long as you have your map and your octopus card with you (you can opt to pay with your money, but having a card to do so -which I will blog about some other time - is really convenient) I think they even have their own roadside assistance club to help those who get lost or needed direction or something too

Anyways, so what did we took during our commuting moments at HK? as per advise by a friend who just recently got there, she said that we shouldn’t let it pass to try the city flyer bus that can bring us to the city (from the airport) though we can opt to take the MTR for faster route, we didn’t because we wanted to do some sight seeing first

What I like best with their commuter transportation is the fact that they have their own bus stops and they really have their on time schedule for every departure and arrival (something that I believe is not new to others, but for me, it’s really cool, you know how commuting works here in our country, it’s chaotic and unique! )

Here’s a photo of the said A21 bus and it’s bus stop (city flyer that brought us to the city) the 13th stop, to be exact.

As mentioned earlier, we also took the MTR, that can bring to you to your destination in just minutes.. regardless of the distance! another pretty cool experience for me (being so used to traffic and spending hours and hours of time in the middle of the road, waiting for the traffic to end, it’s just so refreshing for me!) We had a little stop for a while moment the first we encounter this thing as we found ourselves a little lito to where we will ride, but after analyzing and doing some sense of direction check.. we got the whole thing immediately, and we rode the said thing like a pro! ha!

Here’s another bus stop where we waited for a couple of minutes, the bus that brought us to Ocean Park.

And here’s the most awaited ride (as for me) … the Disney train!.. would you believe,  what I’m excited about?! it’s the Mickey Mouse handles! that I often see on blogs and sites… really love the train itself, for it’s just basically making you feel that you are about to be at the happiest place on earth in a little while! and really, it does!

If given a chance, we would definitely go back to HK and wouldn’t get tired of their ways of transportation!

We still haven’t got any plans for this weekend, though the husband wants to try the new horse back riding place that recently opened weeks back. He says that the horse tack is quite challenging especially for those who are quite tired with the same old round track that we get the horse to walk on. Though, it might not be advisable for kids so there, it’s just more appropriate for the kids at heart! Will make sure to update on this try out, if we were able to push through!

As we all know,more and more nurses here in our country are already living to work in a more prosperous countries. For of course, for their brighter future and greener pasture. That is why there are so many learning schools that offers cna training and the likes to those who want to gain certification on being certified nursing assistant most especially in the US. But of course, with having this certification, one can really be admitted as fast as 123 in hospitals and care centers that are needing nursing assistants. And for me, having to gain the said certification is really good because they can upgrade their knowledge on the course they currently have and at the same time can possibly double their income too!

I really don’t know if you’d like to know, but I am on my third night of passing dinner Finally, I got the courage to face my hunger at night, and now.. here I am with my huge bottle of water, slugging until the last drop to cover up my hunger for real food! But then again, this is what I need to do. And I need to start, the soonest or else, I’ll balloon up in no time. Since I don’t have any piece of fitness equipment here in our house, guess I just need to pass on with food and just drown myself with mater and yes, make myself believe that I am so full and I don’t need a yummy cookie or a plateful of rice with mouth watering viand or a creamy looking pasta.

Oh I just hope this fasting will put me somewhere! in those sections for size 8, I hope!

with the internet playing a huge role on our lives today, thus online advertising becomes one of the most common way of advertising nowadays. Specially when there are so many who can’t even tune themselves with the other media besides the internet, thus businesses (small and large scales) gives way to this kind of advertising. really. I’m itching already to hit DP shop… now the only problem is, I don’t have a budget for another clothes shopping spree. crap.

As I am very much conscious about my weight gain,  guess what, I just gained another pound in a week’s time! (insert boooo) I know, I know. I should have not eaten all those rice during every meal time. But what can I do?! everyone else is doing it, and it practically makes me mad not to take in some carbs you know. So there, got no one to blame but myself here. Oh well, I still have a few more days before the school year starts, and if I want to look good and not flabby on my daughter’s first day of school, I better take in this quicktrim diet! I just hope this thing gives positive output.

In about two week’s time, school year is about to start. Thus I make sure to be ready as well, you see, I’d be waiting for two hours everyday for our little girl and I need to have something to do while I burn that waiting time right? It has been days already when I woke up with terrible back pains, at first I thought it was cause only by the frequent carrying of dear daughter. But the thing is, it wasn’t. Turns out, the husband is also feeling the same tiredness and back aches upon waking up. So it clearly tells that our bed is the culprit! We need a new one, or at least a new and well trusted mattress! something that we find really expensive the last time we scout for a new sofa set. But we need a new and better one, even if it will cost a hefty amount of money. Because we all know how a good night sleep is very much needed for everyone of us. So there, we are officially on hunt for the most relaxing new mattress there is!

Finally, it’s set! My friends and I are going to watch SATC 2 this coming Saturday! woohoo! we have been waiting for this movie for so long (Eclipse too) and now it’s already showing on big screen! But what really excites me? it’s not all about these lovely, fab and glam ladies of the movie… but in fact, the company I’m going to be with! I just really missed the girls and yes, we’ll have a whole day of fun on Saturday! Thank heavens the husband allowed me to, given all the stuff we still need to finish (like searching for this allergy bedding that we might let our daughter use for the meantime, until she gets over her cough and whizzing) and take care of He just knows how important this movie is for me! hehehe

Seems that I’d be busy as a bee again tomorrow. With my full schedule and to do list, I can’t seem to see myself finishing my online tasks on time that is why I’m trying to stay awake now to finish all of it. So happen that a friend will be leaving the country the day after tomorrow and we are schedule to meet again for the last time tomorrow night, will also give him stuffs which he can bring to where he is going back. Though I still haven’t got his weight loss pills that he has been asking me to buy for him. Will just have to add that to do on my list so I wouldn’t forget. So there, what else, and oh, if you will need me… you know where to find me alright!?

Oh yeah. It’s definitely the start of another half of the year and summer is way over. Unfortunately, it is not for me. why?! because we weren’t able to go out on a summer escapade with the husband! the thing is, all the resorts we inquired at were already booked and full until the last day of May and we were left but with the open dates of June and July - which is already most of the time raining. Bummer. I know.

But then again, with closed eyes, I was able to book a short stay in a nearby resort where we can relax and chill even the summer season is over, and the good news about this thing?! is that we got the off-peak package rates! woohoo! Though we just have to pray hard that the good Lord wouldn’t give us rains during our stay, or else, we’ll be staying indoors, watch movies (the husband probably will) while I, will read on about Hydroxycut hardcore reviews that I have been thinking of getting for sometime now. Maybe it’ll be the better time to think about it, while my mind is at peace and all.

A friend happens to notice how the husband is gaining weight… turns out, the best vitamins for men that I got him some time last month is actually doing it works! Actually, we also notice how his appetite is getting back to normal compare to how he eats when he came back from KSA. And yes, probably he’s just so well relaxed and at ease to be with us again, no stress and sleepless nights from thinking a lot. So there, I think we better keep that vitamins for him so he’d be able to regain the lost pounds and to make him healthier even more!

I so love coffee! though I believe most of my friends know that already. Just wanted to say it and share you this… something I receive as a pasalubong earlier this month So happen that the person who gave this to me knew how I am so addicted with chocolates and coffee! so there, you get the picture. And speaking of my love for coffee and all that, I’m actually thinking of getting one of those contemporary coffee tables to be set up on one corner of the house, where I can have my favorite cup of coffee during my ‘me’ time in the morning.
