Can’t remember when was the time facebook my craving for a single slice (yep, just a single slice) of blueberry or anything just as long cheesecake. And then a baptism reception that my sister attended two weeks ago served this super yummy cherry cheesecake for dessert! -thank heavens I forgot to pop my appetite suppressant pill! ;p And yes, I was truly in heaven for like, five minutes! Even my daughter had to come back and ask for another mouthful of this yumminess! I forego the black chocolate topping and half of the whip cream and just indulged myself on the creaminess of the cheesecake itself! If I had to score the dessert?! perfect 10! never mind the main dishes served, the dessert deserves all the rave and all

On October 4 will be my family’s first time to attend the MBAPs Christmas party… oh, sans the husband pala So it’ll be me and my little girl who’ll get to experience & enjoy the super advance partee! anyways, before i make this kwento super long, here is my daughter’s wish list for the kids exchange gift…before I go for reading about Pleasanton motorcycle accident attorney over the net…

1. Arts and Activity Set - she likes doodling and coloring, so I guess an activity set full of lovelies will make my daughter so giddy happy. But if you can’t find one that will fit the allotted budget, basta set of coloring books, crayons, markers etc will do good

2. Dora toys or books basta anythig DORA

3. Clay sets - but mom is so against with the idea - too early pa daw, and it might get dikit-dikit on her floor tiles! haha.

Actually, most of my friends already have posted their $30 worth of desired items they wanted to received for our annual Christmas exchange gift. But of course I have to search for my desired items to you know, and since we have two options for the wishes - one from the US and the other one locally available items - just in case the person who got your name is from here. 10:45 pm scenario - while my sister introduces Cookie Monster to my Daughter ( there’s a story behind this actually, earlier today I was so pahiya with my high school friends when I told them that the color red is connected with cookie monster! -wtf?! ye… super kahiya, imagine at my age now, I’m still not familiar with the Sesame Street gang, oh well…. batang Batibot eh!) anyhoo… so here’s how their conversation was:

Tita Jonah : Olin, this is COOKIE MONSTER… and he is color Blue.

Olin: ahhhh… parang si COCO MARTIN!

Oh my gulay!!! wtf?!? my daughter is also getting dose of Coco Martin, we all gotta stop talking about this actor or else my daughter might be a die hard fan too! at the age of 2……. oh no!

Facebook friends are already nagging me to join other games application, but I just couldn’t. With so much stuff to do online and offline?! I won’t be able to tend those interactive games you know, although I have two games application but rarely gets to play with it. I’m so lazy when it comes to that actually unlike my sister who can offer her whole day just playing yoville or pet society and buying luxurious patio chairs for her pet! Though I must admit, she excels on that! in fact, she is one of the richest amongst her friends, well if you based on her pet’s house and furniture inside the house that she takes care. Sounds pathetic? no I don’t think so. It’s just how people enjoy facebook!

Shoot me, I’m guilty. It’s been years since coffee started flowing unto my veins - not blood. When did I started this addiction? that I can’t remember anymore, what I can still clearly remember is how I pair up my hot cup of strong coffee with cigarettes - good thing, I was able to draw myself away from the latter vice. But coffee!? over my dead body! It simply keeps my mind working and physically, I can be so active and hype. No wonder my daughter loves the smell and often asks me for a sip or two - let’s just say she is so used to the coffee aroma and well, maybe just loves the taste specially the flavored ones. Anyways, let me just share with you one of the yummiest coffee latte I recently had…

Anyways, speaking of coffee and preparation, there was one time when my dad told me if I wanted to have one of those Keurig single cup coffee machines because when he was in Bahamas, he saw a friend who owns a coffee machine and he was practically amazed on the said coffee maker. But I was too shy to say yes because there are so many stuff already that was bought for me and another stuff to add is too much. But that was like two years ago, maybe it’s time that I can request for a cool coffee maker/machine! woot!

Today is our Mama Mary’s birthday, so my family decided to get her cake and mom cooked yummy pork sopas for our afternoon snack. We sang happy birthday song and we let the little princess blow the candle. Good thing  DD (dear daughter) is very much into picture snapping thus explains the wacky shots that I was able to capture Really cute! I’m sure Mama Mary loved our little present for her, and the little prayer we offered to her.

My niece is still searching for equestrian apparel that she’ll be using on their school’s costume party on October. I don’t know why the horsing stuff she needs, probably they’ll be having a career week celebration or something. Then I remember what I wore on my high school career costume program, wore a US navy uniform - super skimpy skirt that my mom had to altered so my legs will show off! funny I know, luckily, I was chosen to be included on the top 10! Super nice experience, will look for the photos so I can share it on my flickr and here too Oh well, wishing the best of luck to my niece, hope she gets the apparel she’s looking for!

Friday is my husband’s work off - which means, a whole of US time! yun lang, via the internet… still, better than nothing! Anyways, this was screen captured around 12noon (KSA time) and 5pm (pinas time). Our daughter who obviously imitates her Tatay by wearing a sunglasses and smiling just like DH. We had a grand time talking about whoelse? the little brat! - and yes, we just goofed around our webcams and enjoyed the day keeping in touch.

But the real score? we just missed each other so much, so much that it hurts so bad… nine more months Be, and we’ll be together again… but for now, I’ll just have to let my tears flow and let my heart breaks into pieces while missing you… while I drown myself with anti-wrinkle cream

When I was still working, part of my job description is to be part of the ISO team. A Process of which everything in the whole company will have a system way of precedure, meaning, every thing from the simplest to the most complicated activitiy inside the company will have step by step practical and useable procedure that must be followed. It was a really hard task you know, imagine guiding every departments on what to do’s, where to start and how to execute their stuff is such a pain in the - you know. But even it was really hard and time consuming, when you finally see the result after months of studies, careful planning, lay outing the procedures and making the employees know their steps by heart, everything just feels great. Especially the Crowd Control Management activity that we had every so often, where you’ll see how every employees participates and basically enjoys the learning process, well maybe because it is for their own sake, that is why we do the system planning and creating a very welcoming and employee friendly environment for all…. And now, as I look back, can’t help but feel blessed to be able to know special skills just like the crowd control management because we all know that it is still applicable in any emergencies that we might face just about anywhere, at least I have enough knowedge on what to do when emergency strikes.

Friday and it’s raining! good thing I have no plans of going out today or else, I’ll probably be drench and wet all over from the non stop pouring. Anyways, a friend who’s about to give birth anytime this month asked me about birth announcements that she can made to order before the baby comes and say hello to the world! I wonder why she needs it though, since not everyone is familiar with that unlike baptismal and birthday invites, oh probably because she have foreign friends who lives here and she wants them to be invited or something to a small gathering or whatever. Oh well, at least I have something to do today than bum around and be worthless for the day! haha!

The last two weeks was full of eating out and family gatherings. As a matter of fact, I gained another pound! crap, now I need to take another batch of apatrim for my diet fix Good thing, it was really effective on me thus my mom and aunt is already trying  it out too. Though we make sure to have a healthy eating pattern and as much as possible get active again on doing brisk walking around the village during the afternoons with our daughter riding her motor bike! Well yeah, actually it’s more of like a family bonding or quality time as others calls it. Now, got to do some cardio in a while, catch you laters!!

I used to dream of wearing one of those geeky glasses when I was in High School. I really don’t know why, but I guess it made me believe that students who wear eyeglasses are serious and really studious. And I wanted to be one of them, actually. And now, I think I’m actually needing one. My eyes are always aching, from the long hours of computer time and so much reading I guess. September 1 - marks the first day of the ‘ber’ months, it’s also the start of the long Christmas season in this country. Believe it or not, Christmas songs are already blasting from establishments and radio stations too! And for us mommies, this is the time to actually think of what nice gifts to give to our kids on Christmas, in fact, my friend Joy already asked me about our holiday shopping and we talked about favored toys that our daughters will surely love. One thing that we consider is the Mickey Mouse cash register set, complete with barcode scanners and credit card slot too! it also has grocery stuff and other items that will be use to be scanned and will eventually make the register creates beeping and cha-ching sounds! Super cute I must say. Anyways, speaking Christmas gifts, look at what my daughter got for her first loot this year… a motorized/rechargeable motor bike! Thanks Tita Riyo
