My daughter and I were on our way from the church earlier when we happened to pass by the little flea market near the town’s plaza and saw line of shops selling pirated dvd and cds. I can’t help but wonder how this illegal stuff can still continue business even if almost everyday news about raids of illegal dvd sellers just about everywhere in the country. And what’s really bothering is the fact that they are off showing those adult movies on their racks or shelves! It was as if shouting to by passers, attracting attention even the innocent ones. Too bad isn’t? And mind rocking for those who care for the youngsters, and I doubt it if those sellers deny sales to their minor customers. Anyways, I wonder how this sellers get to hold of those even indie movies that are categorize as adult flicks and even x-rated. Though I heard about this Adult TV like Apple TV that can be purchase and access by just about anyone who has an internet connection and television unit of course. One of the easiest way to get rated flicks the legal way! No need to buy from those illegal sellers and law abiders. If that can really justify the need for such flicks.
My friend who lives in the US is again selling drool inducing stuffs - read : BAGS! Anyways, not that I’m into snagging another batch of these eye candies - how I wish you know! But you see, I need to prioritize with my expenses now, it has been months since the last time I forgot to do my budget and splurge on so many things. But nope, no regrets or anything with all the purchases it’s just that I need to hold on a bit and finish first all my outstanding balances
Anyways, let me just share with you these lovelies

This coming Christmas, I’m already thinking of getting one of those shower chair for my grandmother, which I’m sure she’ll truly love and appreciates. I heard that she is already having a hard time taking a bath even a quick shower is a heavy task for her already. Thus making my aunt requests us (the grand children) to give the great mom a chair for her shower time. Well anyways, that is why, I’ve been frequently visiting sites that offers affordable stuff like it, hoping for their grand sale whatever before I do make the purchase. But actually, already consider the idea of ordering from allegro medical, from all the raves they got from their customer… they are indeed the remarkable one! ![]()
Time check: 3:26am - and yes, I am still up and awake doing my online tasks… thanks to my milk tea for keeping me alert!
Well, it’s not that the tasks that I’m doing are supposed to expire but I just want to finish them ahead of time so no cramming mode from me and the fact that I am anticipating more work loads in the next coming days (yep, power of positivity!). So there, will hit the sack in a while, will just submit and do fillers for the other sites in a jiffy!
Begin with the idea that mealtimes are pleasant and that good behavior makes them more fun for everyone. Talk with your preschooler about the importance of good manners, and encourage him to think of himself as a polite person. Set realistic expectations, then gently reinforce them until they become habit.
What can I teach him at this age?
Your child isn’t ready for the finer points of well-mannered dining (such as which fork to use for the cake), but he’s old enough to start learning and even perform the basics — depending, of course, on whether he’s just turned 2 or is approaching kindergarten age.
Some behaviors to teach and encourage at this age:
• Hand washing before coming to the table
• No toys at the table.
• No throwing or grabbing food
• No banging utensils
• No spitting food out
• No yelling or running around the room while others are eating
• Saying “please” and “thank you”
• Using utensils instead of fingers when appropriate
• Asking to be excused at the end of the meal (a nice touch is to teach him to thank the person who prepared the meal)
• Clearing dishes from the table to the sink or counter (if the path is clear and the dishes are replaceable)
Few nights ago, I heard my mom talking to her friend about their suit for affordable nursing home services that they can avail for their old aunts. It breaks my heart really when I heard about it, you see, living in a country with a super knit family ties makes you feel so uneasy whenever you hear about taking their folks to one of those elderly care centers. Though this one is very usual to the western countries, where majority of the elders are being handed to the care givers and to find a nursing home is not an impossible task to do. Though I heard there are already numbers of nursing homes in the country today, as a matter of fact, there are more and more elders being accepted.
Aside from our hunt for an affordable long distance moving for my cousin dear, one of the the things that occupy my time is clothes shopping! Actually, not all are for my use, my friend and I are into planning of venturing into a small clothing business. In fact, I have already made another batch of soon-to-order clothes that we might sell online or to friends that are into fashion clothing. Let me just share with you one of many lovely tops I got last week. Super affordable and the quality is really great!
Will post more some time this week…

The husband has been mentioning a lot about his desired to buy a JVC plasma tv, the only problem is the shipping, I guess there is no way unless he have it ship using air cargo for a safety purposes. As much as I wanted to see and attend the funeral of the late President Cory Aquino yesterday, I just can’t. First on the reasons list is that I don’t have anyone to go with, no one among my friends dared and asked me if I wanted to, though I know that most of them longed to see the mother of democracy. Second, it was raining very hard! it was told that typhoon Kiko came back and had a full swing of heavy rains yesterday. Third, no car to use and commuting is just too impossible. Thus, I decided to join my mom, aunt and sister to just watch the full coverage at the comfort of our own home. And really, it was the best choice! I mean, the tv station in charge were able to excute a great coverage until the last moment of the event. What’s really cry inducing scene was at the cemetery when the final curtain will be drop down for our beloved President, anyways, my mom and I can’t help but notice how low profile their museleo looked like, no fancy glass tile or whatever on the tomb, really simple. But she was very well loved.

It was a fruitful week for me, and I am so thankful for all the blessings (work loads) that has been given. But today, I decided to take a whole day of rest - have time with my daughter, might bring her to the mall or her favorite fast food chain to eat, whatever (though I wish to have an Vegas vacations option here! lol). You see, last night I felt so guilty after hearing the mass’s homily about the real needs of man. It’s just that at most times people tends to forget what we really need - it’s not only the food, fame and tangible stuffs that will make us real man of God. But by living in a way that He wants us.
I suddenly realized how engrossed I am to my work and all my shopping cravings, and it has to take break. My daughter needs me more. I guess a little adjustment on time so that my daughter can have a fair share of my time. And I will start asap, from now on, Sunday is exclusive day for my daughter ![]()
