God wants me to know that IT’S OK…

In God We Trust

On this day of your life, Kathy, we believe God wants you to know…
… that it’s OK.

Just rest for a moment. It’s OK. Yes, things are crazy, yes, the world is going nuts. Yet, deep underneath the stormy waves, there, in the core of your being, there is pure silence, pure love. And … it’s … just … OK.

insured

Getting yourself a life insurance quotes is an investment that matters. well for some, it is a complete no-no. but for others, an ideal investment for your future and for the future of the people that matters to you. imagine if you are the bread winner of the family, which by the way all are expecting and leaning on you, what do you think would probably their life if something un-planned happens to you? knock on wood, but what if you had a sudden death, think of the possible things your family will have to face and conquer. sad but true. life is sometimes that harsh. one good thing with the company i am working right now is that they give us their employees a life insurance policy, although a little lesser than the others that have, it is in fact good enough. at least in case something forbid not, happen to anyone of us in the company, the wife or the children left will get a hefty amount of money to have their life start again. i think those kinds of policies are also available for voluntary acquiring, not necessarily available only for the company but for those who also wants his loved ones be saved.

My sister is asking me to accompany her to canvass and check out affordable pc memory for her unit.  Though I thought it was today, thus my long wait for her explains my change of mood. Anyways, will try to understand her because she is currently doing her research for their defense. We’ll probably go in a while or tomorrow. I’ll just watch the State of the Nation bull by the PI’s president. Let’s see if she’s still good in making lies.

Oh, I just received a text message from my sister! they aced the their defense! woot woot! :D

gym dream

Posted by kathy - Under: Uncategorized

Been bugging my husband to allow me to enroll myself for an aero/gym class for some time now, you see it has been almost three years when I gave birth and I still have this itsy bitsy pregancy tummy which can really makes me feel so uncomfortable! Not that I need a hard core gym sessions and all, but you know, stuff that can make me lose belly fat in no time!  I envy some of my friends who are now enjoying their moments with those weights and treadmills! Oh well, life. But this will not stop me from begging the husband to say yes and allow me to hit the gym! :D

And the apartment-brick/cement fence construction is done. the workers went home this afternoon, now the place suddenly glooms, we were used to lots of talking and noises for the past three and a half months with dozen of men doing their chit chats after work and before going to sleep, the husband usually spends some time with them at nights with a round or two or their favorite alcohol drink, they weren’t treated as workers here you know, they were considered friends actually. that is why they are so thankful to my mom and us for the kindness and all showered to them during their stay. and guess what, for the last five days of their work here, i was able to ask them for a little help with our mini terrace just like the ones from massachusetts landscaping site. now i got a bigger place for the veranda and got them had it all tiled up! now i’m ready for a little landscape! er mini garden. not really a landscape coz there is no left land even a bit in the area so there is no way for me to have a effect. pity me, but it’s ok anyway. my mom would love to get one of those ever sassy lights for the garden! so i’ll just help her get one

Arts

Posted by kathy - Under: Uncategorized

Many are enthusiasts to fine art and collecting stuffs from the most valued to the least are actually getting quotes from art storage. Meaning, instead of storing their prized possession at their place, they have to hire a storing company to do the safe keeping and if possible, the displaying the items virtually, meaning, online. So that makes your collection a well known to others without risking it to be stolen or anything like that. Because, when you have an artwork that needs to be kept at a very safe place, you can get a help from fine art movers and keepers. A very good example of this is www.imaginemindseye.com a company that offers vast range of services that a collector and artist needs for his or her prized collection. Actually, its a customized system, that what you only need care is what this company will give you, whether transfering your item from one place to another or if you need a safe keeping for a thing or two, be it for sometime or as long as you want. Name it, and they will surely offer you the best priced quotes you’ll actually be surprise on how affordable this company is, plus you can also see your item anytime your heart desire because they also give an online showcase of your collection.

whining 2 year old

Posted by kathy - Under: Uncategorized

Your 2-year-old now

Have you noticed a new sound in the house — an annoying, grating sound coming from your child’s mouth? Whining is to a semiverbal 2-year-old what crying is to a nonverbal baby — it’s a way of expressing frustration and impatience. Often preschoolers don’t even realize they’re whining. That’s just how their emotions come out. Whining can quickly escalate into an irritating habit, so it’s best if you can nip it in the bud early.

The essential strategy is to stick to your guns. If your child whines for something and you give in “just this once,” she’s likely to whine all the louder and longer next time because she knows it’s a possibility that you just might give in again. Another tactic is to point out how unpleasant her tone sounds by mimicking it back to her — a good way to turn a whine into a giggle. Or you can plead helplessness: “I can’t understand you when you use that voice.” Empathize with the feeling behind the whine and then redirect her: “I know you don’t want to have a nap now. You’re full of energy. But your voice hurts my ears. Let’s do 10 jumping jacks and then read a book.”

Your life now

If you plan to send your child to preschool, don’t wait until she reaches age 3 to start making preliminary plans. You might take one look at your pull-up wearing tantrum thrower and think the idea is premature. But by planning ahead you’ll be better able to investigate the full range of options in your community. Preschools can differ greatly in philosophy, policies, and the degree of parental involvement expected. It’s smart to talk to other parents, and visit the schools themselves, to find the right fit for your family. Another reason to get an early start: Some schools have waiting lists or require interviews and you’ll want to be on their schedule.

Waiting

Posted by kathy - Under: Uncategorized

Don’t you just hate when you wait?! because I do. I really hate waiting and just the thought of the act freaks the hell out of me. Now I’m totally pissed.

And then what, you’ll just pop out and expect me to be just ok?! c’mon! ano ganun na lang?! hmp.

zenni glasses

Posted by kathy - Under: Uncategorized

One of my husband’s nephew is near sighted (not really sure of the real case, but I think I’m right), the last time I saw him, the kid was wearing a prescription eyeglasses. I was surprised actually because the kid is not going to school yet, so I wonder how they learn about the case or whatever. So there, I might check out this Zenni Optical on TV!!! a site that offers $ 8 Rx eyeglasses. Really cheap isn’t? this might be perfect for Christmas gift or birthday present for the boy. At least he’ll be able to use it, especially if he has a vision issue right? High Five to Zenni Optical!

Out of Town Wedding Preps

Posted by kathy - Under: Uncategorized

I mentioned earlier that my little brat is about to have her measurement taken for the gown that she would wear on the September wedding, but for a reason I don’t know,  the bride to be failed to contact me the whole day. Talk about change of plans without informing me at all! We were like waiting the whole for their call if the’ll be coming over or if we will be the one to go to their place, but nada. Though it never bumped unto any of my schedule and what not, I was just hoping for a call or at least a text messaging of their plan, you know? Well, maybe tomorrow or the day after they’ll contact me. We’ll see. Enough with the venting, it’s just me and my little pissed self.

Anyways, speaking of wedding, do you know the September wedding that my daughter will be part of is one of those destination weddings?! yep yep, it’ll be held in a  location where quite far from where we are now, I heard it was one of those secluded beach in the North which is an in demand location for out of town weddings! I wonder how pretty that place is! maybe something like the White-Sand Beaches of Riviera Maya! I hope so! For it’ll be perfect for my photo shooting! :D

Sleepy

Posted by kathy - Under: Uncategorized

I’m sleepy like Garfield! but no, can’t hit the sack yet… still need to finish a few more tasks that’s about to due in a few hours, so here I am… blogging like a wacko… thoughts already wandering around.

Actually, I miss spontaneous blogging - like what I used to before, way before the paid blogging stint and all. It was when I used to blog whatever that comes to my mind, wherever. And I used to blog in language I prefer, English, Tagalog, Taglish and my ever favorite in my Gay lingo! though I can still do that, but sometimes hands are full, schedules and deadlines are near, offline duties are over flowing thus making me ADD :D But who knows, in time I’ll be able to update more often, with more kwento and kabaklaan! lol

Thursday Want

Posted by kathy - Under: Uncategorized

This weeks question is: What job do you want?

To be honest, I wanted a jet setting job! I used to believe when I was young that I’ll be a successful flight attendant, you know, wearing those nice uniforms - being able to go places, experience the world and the luxury of living! Would you believe that if things were just taken into consideration and all, probably I am one now, but maybe, maybe it’s just not for me.

So else do I want? I also wanted to be a travel photographer or a travel show host  :D no kidding! I often see myself as one of Discovery Channel’s anchor/photographer/host… cool job! I wish! :D

Gold mines

Posted by kathy - Under: Uncategorized

more and more bloggers are getting hook on writing about buying gold. Well, actually I can’t but too you know, because with times like this when everything is cost rising, it is really a smart move to finally investment your money in something that is known to be effective. Such as investing in gold and the likes. Although starting up a business is one good choice too, like food business for example, you will still have a lot of things needed in order to come up with effective food business, like getting franchise or coming up with new ideas on the likes of people and even hiring man power to run the said business. But if you’ll just put your money in gold investments, all you have to do is buy gold on accredited sellers and distributors, have it check by renowned experts such as Monaco Rare Coin and voila, you have your investmenst in a jiffy!

FB Addict

Posted by kathy - Under: Uncategorized

Are you looking for me?! if you are, find me at facebook! I dunno, but these past few days I’ve been hanging around like slime at FB, updating my current stats every so often and commenting on others! Sometimes I feel so epal na and all, but I can’t help it! Partida, I’m not playing any games at all but the whole bunch of time I’m at it is just so surprising! Or maybe, just maybe I’m overwhelmed with the fact that most of my friends from then and now are into it also, and we are actually communicating -at least based on our status and shout outs! And here this, imagine being able to talk to your high school classmate that I can’t even remember if we talked or exchange chika’s when we were still studying! Now you can practically insert ‘now we’re talking!’  lol

Alright, nuff with the crap, gotta go… find me again where?! @ Facebook! *poof!*
