With the rising cases of H1N1 virus all over the world, health departments are making sure that they give enough precautions and warnings in order to prevent the spread of this virus. Anyways, one of the advice they gave are thoroughly cleaning our homes especially the bathrooms for virus can spread easily at this area, door knobs, everything that we hold in our houses are virus carrier. That is why, it is very advisable to have items in your place be always clean using disenfectants and if not available, just plain soap and water can do. Three days ago my friend Glo and I went for some hardcore kitchen stuff  shopping! Funny because we shop while we are in two different parts of the world! True, I was just monitoring and waiting online while she does the shopping at Walmart! Anyways, what did we shop?! A whole lot of stuff for my kitchen it is, like

Alright,  had to admit that I love checking out bathroom designs whenever we go to house and home themed showrooms. I really don’t know what’s up with that since we are not in the middle of any house planning yet, nor in the process of renovating our own bathroom. But the fact that I just love imagining so many good things that this special place in the house can offer makes me smile, weird I know, for going gaga over bathroom designs, but who cares right? It’s just me.

Anyways, what do I love about this place in the house? Oh I totally like ut huge wirh space wide enough for me to move around. Having a bath tub too is a must because at the end of the day, who wouldn’t want to have a long dip in the warm fragrant water?  Oh I also love those nice basin like granite lavatory, those that looks like as if it was just placed on top. Lighting effects that creates a softer mood whenever you enter is a hit too, it is true that perfect lighting does create nice ambiance to any room and this particular part of the house is no exception. I will be posting some bathroom design inspirations in  a while, will just look for the site that I happened to pass by some few weeks back.

Few days ago, was doing nothing so I decided to watch a magazine show on tv about modern house design. Though I admit that interior decorating doesn’t ring a thing to my system, I was remarkably amazed on the beautiful home design of the famous scene stealers nowadays. And I really love the modern designs of the rising young interior designers of the country today! It reminds me of the young designers that has being featured on stylehive.com and even on international tv shows.

And speaking of unique and comfy home designs that I would love to have are this two, I know totally opposite but it’s me, I really don’t care of the theme whether modern classic to minimalist as long that it catches my attention then it’s fine. And here it is, the first one with the bright and loud orange couch that seems to be very well cushioned, just by looking at it, it creates warmth and comfort at the room right? I also dig the clay bottles placed at the center table. Meanwhile on the second photo, what I like in here is the cute and classy hearth which is uniquely wall mounted. Something that I would love to have if given a chance to live in a colder place

If only I have a lovely long neck, I’d probably hoard on beautiful accessories like  necklace but unfortunately I don’t, that’s why I seldom buy unless if the chains are quite long compare to the regular ones. I’ve been looking over the net for affordable yet elegant and dainty Baby Bedding for my daughter. Which reminds me that it’ll also be perfect as gifts for my Godchildren on Christmas or their birthdays! You see, I have this thing for giving bed stuff for my favorite kids during their special occasions, but of course it also depends on my budget during the event, if it luckily falls when I have enough money to buy gift, I usually buy comforter sets and crib bumper sets but if I’m a little short of budget, I usually end up getting hampers, curtains, pillows and even cute bed sheets for the celebrant. I don’t know if you guys also notice how I love taking pictures of beautiful lighting fixtures wherever I am, specially the oh so lovely chandeliers of the fancy restaurants and hotels. It’s kind of weird I think, but there are so many people who also loves taking snap of such things. But if I love having this thing as my photography subject, my mom loves collecting fancy lamp shades and ceiling lights! in fact, she still have number of boxes filled with unused lighting fixtures in the storage room, she says that in time she’ll be able to use those when she gets tired of the cute fancies we have in our house. Do you believe that she even bought the dining room light we have at our place too?! One time, she came carrying a huge box with a modern type lighting stuff inside!

With all the swine flu scare that has been causing so much worries specially on moms like me, I believe that it is better to get one of those vaccine shots for flu. Though some says that it wouldn’t matter if you have that said booster since once you get exposed to a place where the virus is at most probably you’ll get affected. I really don’t know but for me, prevention is still the best that is why, I made sure to had my daughter were given a shot by her Pediatrician last month. I wasn’t surprised to see a lot of kids lined up too during that day that is why it took us quite a while before we were served, anyways, while waiting, I happened to read about mesothelioma and other stuff from the flyers at the clinic and I was glad I did some reading there for I gained additional knowledge on how to prevent being afflicted by common illnesses.

So why am I blabbing this? maybe because I’m a bit scared for I learned from the news that a certain place up in the North are now being affected by this viral sickness. You know, just be safe.

My friend is really into getting one big LCD tv for their home before the year ends. In fact, she has been closing her eyes from all the shopping sprees that has been invading our online world lately! It  has been three weeks already when hubby left to work in another foreign country. Though time flies so fast, for me the past few days are the slowest. Been dragging myself every single day wishing that his two year contract will end so that we can be together again. But with all the misses and heart longing, I’m glad that he’s getting used to where he is now (as he told me), making friends with his co workers and  meeting up with some few relatives who also works near his place. Yeah, it’s a total turn around collection for Coach for it’s not one of the boring designs that they’ve been releasing for the past few years - which I find too classic or too formal for my use, though it looks great for office gals. We still here at home, waiting for the ones who will be residing at the other door of my parent’s apartment units. My mom assigned me to take care of their transfer, thus, waiting for them so that I can tell them the house rules and give them the keys of the house. Actually, orientation mode it is for me! lol Anyways, being the one who always see the movers going in and out of the apartment units sometimes makes me think how important it is to hire a reliable movers.
