Need for…

A new toy organizer for who else? the brat. Toys and other stuff are flooding everywhere around the house and my mom suggested er actually obliged me to get a new rack for her grand daughter’s toys. Her toy rack simply cannot accommodate all her toys that is why you can see some on the floor and even under our dining table. Yes, a total mess it brings! But we are still ok with it, we can still handle it. We just don’t know until when. Well anyways, while we were at the toy shop Olin saw something like this… Dora toy organizer with 9 plastic bins. Almost the same with the one she has, but this one is Dora. And the price is more than double! Goodness, pricey but I love it too! we’ll see if we can get one or we’ll get the generic one that is way so much cheaper than this. I know, practicality is still the best.

New Want…

…for the brat :) the newest Dora Knows Your Name 2.0! Since she already has the first version which is a great steal actually with its so many features and all, for sure this 2.0 is also an uber nice one! Can’t wait to grab this! :) Olin would definitely love this, another Dora who says her name! so cute! :)

Product Information snagged from Allaboard:

learning beauty

A friend whom I haven’t heard from in a while messaged me a few days ago and informed me that she is currently enrolled in one of the Regency Beauty Institute beauty schools in Minneapolis. Actually, I wasn’t surprised at all when I learned that she is taking up some beauty course because as I remember, she is the most vain amongst all my friends, she has been friends with make ups and hair dresses! Been flaunting herself with variation of fully dressed self complete with accessories and ala salon styled hair almost everyday! She likes dressing up and loves looking always pretty and prep up. That is why, after some years she has decided to take a big leap by studying fashion and beauty to the next level. I also heard that she’s thinking of building her own business someday, a Salon! what else? I know, she’ll make it big in that! Knowing that she’s studying in the most famous beauty institute in the US today.

Future Friday

Posted by kathy - Under: Uncategorized

snagged this one from Yen :)

1. When you were in high school, how did you envision your future? Kids, college, marriage, professional, etc.?
+ It was a fairy tale dream actually back then, I used to think of myself and my family living in a big and beautiful house living in super ideal family life.

2. How does that compare to the reality of what was to come?
+ I love my life now, I may not be at my happiest nor at my satisfied state but I’m alright with it, overwhelmed with the love and care I continuously receiving from my family esp from my husband and baby

3. What, if anything, would you change about your choices, had you had the benefit of knowing what was to come?
+ I probably would not change anything from the choices I made. Although I might work a little longer to help my family before settling in the married state. But, everything happens for a reason, I believe the man up there will still provide for me so that I can still work on the dreams I have…

4. Do you believe that the cliche about clouds and silver linings holds true, that out of bad can cause good?
+ I guess so…

5. What about karma? Does what goes around come around?
+ Oh yes, karma strikes faster.

Happy Friday :)

Wishing and Hoping

Posted by kathy - Under: Uncategorized
13 days more days to go and it’s our Twitter EB/Christmas Party! (woohoo! confetti pop!) anyways, part of the said get together is the Exchange gifts, since I already posted my wish list (for myself and Olin) I will just do a brief chika on it here, (for filler purposes na din! lol)

For myself, I wish for a ULTIMA-FULL SIZED FITTED BED SHEET WITH 2 PILLOW CASES which costs around P499.75 (sale price, since they always have this thing on sale) You see, I have this thing for bed sheets talaga, I dunno why, I love changing sheets every so often, I always want to smell the newly washed/fab con scent on it. And I would surely love to have another one for my collection… see my latest buys last August and September… something with green-ish colors/design if possible sana… :)

Anyways, as for alternative naman, I guess a sexy sleepwear will do ;p (malamig ang simoy ng hangin… lol)
;0

Alright, ‘nuf said with my list. Let’s now go to Olin’s wish list… so simple actually, since she’s been into DORA the Explorer lately, I guess ANYTHING DORA would be greatly appreciated by my daughter (who seems to be looking more alike Dora!)

For second choice, books is also something that she super favors… so if no Dora available, Books will do just fine… :)

Thanks in advance to you our Monita and mini monito/monita! mwuah!

PPBC 9 Call For Articles: Birthdays!

Posted by kathy - Under: Uncategorized

Doc Joey came up with this topic for PPBC! It made me realized about my daughter’s upcoming second birthday, to party or not is the question right now… anyways, before I continue with my reading about movers New York let me just blurb here my daughter’s First birthday bash last January.

What can you say about birthdays? Did you celebrate your kid’s birthdays with a big bash? Or a trip? Or just a simple celebration at home?

:: I definitely love birthdays and celebrations! this much better if we have unlimited moolah to spend!

:: We celebrated my daughter’s first birthday with a bash, not that ‘big bash thing’ but we kept a budget layout so we wouldn’t have to go over board with the expense. It was a happy celebration, I must say. Successful! you can view the party details and supplier ratings HERE (PART 1) and HERE (PART 2)

Was there anything significant that happened during your kids’ birthday?

:: Everything was memorable, things happened according to what my husband and I planned. It was a blast! The kids truly enjoyed every single moment of it, games, prizes and the magic shows. Don’t forget the delicious food that my mom make sure to be overflowing, she cooked additional viands to add with the catered ones.

Were you happy about how your kid’s birthday celebration went?

::  Oh definitely!

Any special memories?

:: Everything was memorable and special

Any other thoughts?

:: I should have hired a face painter though… it was really fun pala! :)

How I like

Posted by kathy - Under: Uncategorized

… to buy stuff specially when it comes to shirts and blouses. I love buying the same shirt style in different colors. Basta I find the fit and the design beautiful, I make sure to get at least two :) Got this thing from my mom actually, used to think it was a weird thing, but now I’m also doing the same thing! lol

How about you, how do you like to buy your shirts?
